Jimmy Choo celebrated the launch of its largest single-level flagship on Rodeo Drive, replacing the previous location on North Canon Drive. This unique, 1,500 square-foot space will reflect the global design store concept, echoing the sensibility of the Jimmy Choo brand with a 1940′s inspired boudoir atmosphere. This lavish new store boasts private elevator access from valet parking in addition to Jimmy Choo’s first exclusive VIP shopping experience, which allows clients private fittings for special occasions. The Beverly Hills store will house the extensive shoe and handbag collections as well as the exclusive showcase for the Jimmy Choo sunglasses and eyewear collections, launching in early 2008.
Historically significant, Beverly Hills represents Jimmy Choo’s first store location in the United Stated as well as the brand’s close association with Hollywood. Jimmy Choo made its first appearance on the red carpet at the 1999 Academy Awards when worn by Oscar nominee Cate Blanchett. Jimmy Choo continues to be a favorite among the Hollywood elite.
“Our Beverly Hills clientele deserve to shop in the most lavish environment and opening a boutique on Rodeo Drive will complete the Jimmy Choo experience,” states Jimmy Choo CEO, Joshua Schulman. Guests indulged themselves with Veuve Cliquot champagne and delicious passed hors d’oeuvres by Patina Restaurant Group.
The evening benefited the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Additionally, 15% of the boutique’s sales from January 11 were donated to the charity.
